Ottawa’s Maidan Market is facing a critical funding shortage and we need your help to raise $60,000 to ensure we are able to continue to support newcomers from Ukraine with the assistance they deserve. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of Ukrainians and help them rebuild their lives in Canada.
What is Maidan Market?
Maidan Market, is a welcome hub for newcomers from Ukraine fleeing the war. We provide a sense of community and assist with helping to settle and integrate into Ottawa. Maidan Market was established in May 2022, with the support of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Ottawa Branch.
This initiative was made possible with the generous support of RioCan and Royal Moving & Storage.

WELCOME & INFORMATION CENTRE
Grab a coffee, let us know where you arrived from on the map of Ukraine, ask our Settlement Ccoordinator any questions about your new life in Ottawa, flip through the resource book and check out the information board, or surf the net in our computer room. Children can play with toys as you spend time at Maidan Market.

LIFE-COACHING SESSIONS

We no longer accept clothing donations, however, we would recommend this initiative:

Furniture + Household Donations
We do not have the storage capacity to collect furniture and household goods donations, however, we recommend these two local groups who not only collect items but help furnish homes for newcomers:
