Welcome to the Information Centre for Ukrainian Newcomers to Ottawa!
We understand that moving to a new country can be a daunting experience, which is why we are here to provide you with information and referrals to various services that can help make your transition to Canada easier. Please note that we are not a settlement agency, but we offer information and referrals to a wide range of resources that can aid in your settlement process.
Our services cover a variety of areas, including:
Housing: We provide referrals to affordable housing options and can help you secure housing in your desired area.
Education: We offer referrals to education and training resources that can help you upgrade your skills and knowledge.
Employment: We can refer you to job boards, career fairs, and job training programs that can help you secure employment in Canada.
Healthcare: We provide referrals to healthcare services, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers.
Legal assistance: We offer referrals to legal services that can help you with immigration issues, family law, and other legal matters.
Language training: We can refer you to language training resources that can help you improve your communication skills in English or French.
Social services: We provide referrals to community centres, recreational activities, and support groups that can help you build a social network and adjust to life in Canada.
At the Information Centre we are committed to helping you settle into your new home. We offer a warm welcome to all newcomers and are always here to answer your questions and provide you with the resources you need to make your transition to Canada a smooth and successful one.
Information centre is open on Mondays and Thursdays :

12:15 pm - 5:30 pm - by appointment
